Annual Planning and Evaluation Process
Administrative units determine expected outcomes, which are mapped to NOVA’s Strategic Plan. Units measure their achievement in meeting these outcomes using evaluation measures that are aligned with their expected outcomes. Evaluation data are collected, analyzed, and compared with previous years’ outcomes. This analysis determines improvements to be addressed in the next evaluation cycle. The cyclical nature of this planning and evaluation process is shown in the figure below. Administrative units seek continuous improvement to enhance institutional effectiveness and improve student success.
