Appointments
NOVA Dental welcomes all patients, including geriatric and those with special needs.
It’s important to know that with the best dental technology comes a comfortable environment for all of our patients, including those who have special needs. This requires a change in typical dental care to accommodate those individuals. We tailor your family’s care experience by altering services. We care about all of our patients’ comfort as well as their oral health, regardless of their background. It is crucial to know our office and staff are equipped to make their experience and oral health the best possible. We approach treatment and examinations from a highly experienced practice history and do our best to promote our patients’ overall wellness.
At NOVA Dental we realize that every stage of life presents a unique set of dental concerns. In our effort to provide complete dental care services to our patients, we proudly accommodate geriatric patients. Our dentists are experienced, gentle and skilled in dental care for seniors. As we age, we face oral health problems ranging from dry mouth and gum disease to sleep apnea and missing teeth. If not addressed, these concerns can compromise your overall health and impact your quality of life. Our office is highly equipped to treat aging adults and we deliver a compassionate, personalized approach from the moment they walk in our doors. Geriatric dentistry is a crucial part of the health maintenance mechanism for the elderly and medically compromised individuals. On average, people above the age of 65 years are expected to suffer from one or more chronic medical conditions that require consideration before initiating any dental treatment. The best way to take care of your aging mouth is to get regular dental exams so a small problem doesn’t have the chance to snowball into a bigger one!
