Enroll in the Payment Plan
NOVA offers a payment plan to help make paying your tuition easier and more affordable. The sooner you enter the payment plan, the lower your payments will be. When you are enrolled in the payment plan, (and you are current on your payments), your classes are protected, and you will not be dropped for non-payment.

For Spring 2025
We now have two payment plan options with no down payment. Yes, that is two plan options with ZERO percent down. We have also lowered the deposit amount for many of the other plan options.

MY COLLEGE PAYMENT PLAN
About the Payment Plan
There are no interest charges for participants in the Payment Plan. There is no credit check or credit worthiness requirement to join. There is an Enrollment Fee.
Enrollment Fee
When you enroll in the payment plan, you will be charged an enrollment fee by our payment plan partner, Nelnet. The enrollment fee is $30.00 for all plans except Semi-Monthly 8 payment and 10 payment options which have a $45.00 enrollment fee.
Your payment plan will automatically adjust
Your payments in the payment plan will automatically change if you add or drop classes after you enter the payment plan. If you have financial aid that is going to cover part of your tuition, and the amount of your financial aid changes, your payment plan payments will automatically change.
Any adjustment that will increase your payment plan payments will take 10 days to go into effect. Any adjustment that will decrease your payment plan payments, will take two days to go into effect.
Extend Your Time To Make a Payment
If you get in a pinch and need a few extra days to make your regular scheduled payment, no problem. All you need to do is log on to your Nelnet Payment Plan Account, select your payment schedule and click on change payment date. You can also call Nelnet and make the request on the phone. Nelnet will not attempt to collect your payment for an additional five days after the regular scheduled date. You must make the request at least two business days before your regularly scheduled payment date and you can only request the delay two times in any semester.
Returned Payment Fee
Nelnet will charge a $30.00 non-refundable fee each time your payment is returned by your Financial Institution for any reason (i.e. non-sufficient funds, closed bank or credit card account, incorrect bank account number, stop payment).
Failure to Deposit and Re-Enrollment
If your payment plan is terminated for a failed deposit amount, your classes are at risk of being dropped for non-payment. If the enrollment period is still open, you can re-enroll in a new payment plan and you must make a new down payment and also pay a new enrollment fee. If the enrollment period has ended, you must pay the college directly for all remaining amounts due or your classes are at risk of being dropped for non-payment.
Monitor Your Account
All payment plan participants are reminded to closely monitor your payment plan account, your college enrollment, and your college e-mail for any notification from Nelnet Campus Commerce or NOVA. Deadlines for terminating a plan account, making changes that effect the next payment, and certain dates and deadlines CANNOT be adjusted or changed.
