The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) offers adult learners who earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at NOVA to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the following concentrations:

Bachelor of Applied ScienceThe bachelor of individualized study (BIS) may be for you. The BIS program offers you a distinctive opportunity to complete your degree. BIS has a flexible curriculum: As a BIS student you create an interdisciplinary concentration to meet your own educational needs.
Bachelor of Individualized StudiesA college course designed to produce students with the necessary skills and leadership training to become officers in the United States Army, Army Reserve and the Army National Guard.
