American Women's College of Bay Path University

The American Women's College of Bay Path University offers an affordable, flexible and accelerated online option for earning your B.S. in Cybersecurity: Digital Forensics. Established in 1897, Bay Path University is a private, non-profit institution for women at the undergraduate level and welcomes men and women at the master's and doctoral levels. The B.S. in Cybersecurity leverages cutting-edge technology and real-world scenarios and focuses on areas such as white-collar criminal investigations, forensic acquisition, chain-of-custody, evidence handling, network intrusions, mobile forensics, malware/phishing identification, insider threat, how-to-apply security measures to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) of data to ultimately learning how to protect the digital assets of an organization.

Students will obtain experience utilizing virtual labs with various best-in-class forensic software packages used throughout law enforcement, government agencies and corporate America. Classes are offered in a six-week accelerated model, and students with an associate's degree are typically able to earn their bachelor's degree in about a year and a half. Bay Path University also offers an M.S. in Cybersecurity Management, which educates students in all aspects of the leadership of cybersecurity systems and personnel and prepares students to assume immediate responsibility for the management and oversight of such systems.

- Achieved a "C" or better in all courses and completed all courses applied to the degree within the past ten years.
Formal Articulation Agreement
After completing your A.A.S. Cybersecurity degree, you enroll at both ECPI and NOVA to take 16 additional credits at NOVA while completing your remaining 47 credits for your bachelor's degree at ECPI, keeping tuition costs down.

George Mason University

Bachelor of Applied Science Cybersecurity

The Bachelor of Applied Science program offers a unique degree-completion curriculum for students typically in the workforce who wish to return to college to further their advancement opportunities. It is also perfect for veterans looking to expand upon their skills gained while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Like the program, BAS admission requirements are unique. BAS applicants are considered for regular admission only. Applicants who do not meet all of the following criteria will not be admitted:

A competitive cumulative grade point average
Completion of English Composition, equivalent to ENGH 101, with a grade of C or better before application to Mason.
- NOTE: If English is not your native language, the Admission Committee will require demonstrated English language proficiency before application to Mason. Proficiency may be satisfied by proficiency exams or by completing VCCS ENG 111 and 112 with grades of C or better. Several VCCS AAS degrees do not require ENG 112 (ex: Cybersecurity). Consult your advisor early in your program to meet the English requirement before applying to Mason.
Completion of Math equivalent to Mason Core MATH 106, 108, 110, 111, 113, 125 or STAT 250 with a grade of C or better before application to Mason. VCCS courses that satisfy this requirement include MATH 154, 261, and 245.
Conferred Associate of Applied Science Cybersecurity
- Fall applicants must graduate in May.
- Spring applicants are advised to graduate in August.
- December graduates may not be conferred in time to be considered for January enrollment.
The Admission Committee requires the final, official transcript reflecting the A.A.S. conferral date before enrollment at Mason. No other documents are accepted. New BAS student course registration is prohibited until the final transcript is received and processed.
To transfer, students must complete ITN 100 instead of ITN 101 and ITE 221 instead of ITN 107.

George Washington University - College of Professional Studies

Bachelor's in Integrated Information, Science and Technology at the Arlington and Ashburn Campuses

Designed for working professionals.
Some security and data analytics classes, but tends to be a more well-rounded IT degree.
Cohort program -- you attend with a group for five semesters.
Tuition discounts make it less expensive than attending GWU at Foggy Bottom.
If you graduate from the program, you are guaranteed admission to GW's master's degree program in Information Systems and Technology Management at the Foggy Bottom Campus.
Offers a 10K Degree Completion grant available from NSF to qualifying students.

George Washington University

Bachelor's in Computer Science at the Foggy Bottom Campus

A more traditional transfer-oriented program is a good option if you have strong Math and Programming (Computer Science) abilities.
Participates in the Scholarship for Service (SFS) CyberCorps program for both undergrads and students with previous bachelor's degrees transferring from NOVA.
Scholarship for Service opportunities if you have prior bachelor's degrees and complete at least one year of foundational IT/Cyber studies at NOVA (pending). Contact Margaret Leary at mleary@nvcc.edu.
Transferring to undergraduate programs in SEAS is administered by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. All programs in SEAS, including CS, follow the same criteria.
While no "required" GPA exists, successful applications will have above a 3.0 GPA. There are no guaranteed agreements.
If you apply to transfer to SEAS, you should take college-level math courses, preferably calculus and higher. Scoring below a B in these courses ranks you less competitive.
It would be best if you also had some Chemistry and Physics coursework exposure. Scholarships are more limited for transfer students. The largest is for those from community colleges who are also members of Phi Theta Kappa, which will gain $7,500 annually.
All transfer students are eligible to apply for and receive need-based financial aid.

Marymount University

Bachelor of Science in Networking and Cybersecurity

Old Dominion University

Bachelor of Science in IDS-Cybersecurity

ODU will transfer up to 65 credits from the A.A.S. Cybersecurity degree and will take an additional 20 credits from NOVA to meet additional requirements, transferring a total of 85 credits.
30 credits will then be taken at ODU for the Bachelor's degree.
