Provost Welcome
Welcome to the Reston Center, “The Gateway to the American Dream,” where your success is our goal!
The Reston Center, with classrooms located at 1821 Michael Faraday Drive, is part of NOVA's Loudoun Campus. We take tremendous pride in the quality instruction, educational programs, services and diverse classes we offer. We believe that our students are our most valuable resource. Therefore, whether you are seeking a technical degree, planning to transfer to a four-year college or university, looking for workforce training, updating your current skills, or developing new ones, the faculty and staff are all here to help you.
With strong articulation agreements with state and private colleges and universities, we are positioned to assure a smooth transition from high school to the community college and then on to a four year college or university. Flexible scheduling and distance learning help us to meet the diverse educational needs of students who are balancing home, work, and familial obligations while continuing their education.
The demand for highly-skilled and educated workers in our region is on the rise. We live in a dynamic area; from information technology to the biosciences to health care and government services and homeland security our region provides the leadership. NOVA’s Reston Center serves as the Reston community’s premier pathway to the educational and career opportunities that exist in the region.
We believe you will have an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding experience at the Reston Center. I encourage you to take advantage of all that we have to offer.
Our theme: “Gateway to the American Dream,” is more than just a slogan. It is our promise of continuing commitment to meet the needs of our community in ways that foster the best opportunities to succeed in every aspect of life. Our job is to help make your visions and dreams reality, and we intend to do that better than ever before.
