CARPENTRY APPRENTICESHIP
Certificate MA
Purpose: This program is designed to provide the related instruction
component for carpentry apprentices. The Carpentry Apprenticeship
program is approved by the Virginia Apprenticeship Council. This
work-based learning approach will develop skilled workers to
address the shortage of skilled carpenters.
While enrollment in this program is open to any persons who
meet the college's general curricular admission requirements,
to be a carpentry apprentice participants must also be employed
according to the Standards of Apprenticeship and must maintain
satisfactory progress in the related instruction while maintaining
continuous employment in carpentry.
