An Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Institution

It is the policy of both Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) to maintain and promote equal employment and educational opportunities without regard to race, color, sex or age (except where sex or age is a bona fide occupational qualification), religion, disability, national origin, marital status, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or other non-merit factors. Inquiries concerning affirmative action and equal opportunity policies should be addressed to the College’s director of Affirmative Action/Minority and Legal Affairs, whose office is located in the Brault Building at the Annandale Campus (703-323-3266).

Policy Regarding Online and Print Versions of the Catalog

Every effort has been made to provide the most accurate, up-to-date information possible in this catalog. It is revised each year, but there may be times when substantive changes are required during the academic year after the catalog has been printed. Such changes are posted to the College Web site at http://www.nvcc.edu where there is a link between the online College Catalog and a document titled "Updates to the Catalog." Students should consult the NVCC online College Catalog periodically for updates and are encouraged to consult with their academic advisors regularly. The statements and provisions in this catalog are not to be regarded as a contract between the student and the College that cannot be recalled. The College reserves the right to change, when warranted, any of its policies, programs, courses and fees.

For those who live in the Metropolitan area, where Manassas or Woodbridge may be a long-distance call, a toll free number is provided--877-408-2028.
