The Community Education Program is one of several instructional programs of the College. It includes short courses, workshops, and training to meet the needs of the local community. The courses are not for credit, but in most cases Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded. Contact the Office of Continuing Education at the campus nearest you to request further information. Fees charged for these courses cover the instructional and administrative costs. The courses are self-supporting.
Community Education & Services offers a non-credit Community Program three times a year on a seasonal basis. Our Spring program will begin the week of January 16. This is a tentative list of courses. Additions and deletions will be made to this list. The spring catalogue will be distributed through The Washington Post and mailed to previous participants by November 10 - if you do not receive a course catalogue, call (703) 845-6240/6280.
