Students should consult with an advisor to ensure mathematics courses meet their intended transfer institution requirement.

Courses eligible for UCGS can be found on the General Education Electives page, marked with an asterisk (*). It's recommended to choose electives with the guidance of a counselor or academic advisor to ensure they fulfill the requirements of the transfer institution.

Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 155 and MTH 245. Students who plan to take MTH 245 should take MTH 154 or MTH 161 first.

2 Select from the following: HIS 101, HIS 102, HIS 111, HIS 112, HIS 121, or HIS 122. Consult your specific degree or transfer pathway and chose based on the topic that most interests you.

3 See humanities/fine arts courses listed under General Education Electives. Students must choose courses from two of the three areas listed, excluding English.

4 See physical and life science courses listed under General Education Electives.

5 See social/behavioral science courses listed under General Education Electives. At least one class must be non-HIS course.

6 See English literature courses listed under humanities/fine arts from the General Education Electives.

Students can take another General Education Electives or select from a List of Transfer Electives for acceptable courses. The majority of four-year institutions require a foreign language through intermediate (202) level for Bachelor of Arts degree. Waivers or credit by exam for previous experience is available for some languages. See the 'World Language Credit and Waiver' section of the [Credit for Prior Learning Manual].
