Phishing Scam: Facebook
The below email is an example of a phishing attempt that appears to come from Facebook that is being sent to NVCC email addresses. It instructs users to click on an attached document to get their new ‘Facebook’ passwords.
Never click on, download or install any links included in a suspicious email. These programs may cause damage to your PC or PC data by loading harmful programs. They may also allow unauthorized access to your Username and Password.

Subject: [BULK] Facebook Password Reset Confirmation.
Importance: Low
Hey (Your User Name),
Because of the measures taken to provide safety to our clients,
your password has been changed.
You can find your new password in attached document.

If you are a Facebook member and are concerned about your account, you should access their official site by typing the company’s genuine web address into the address bar of your browser.
