New TED talk from Edward Burtynsky

I've mentioned photographer Edward Burtynsky before. He's got a fresh new talk up on the TED website -- a short one, just under 4 minutes. The theme: oil's landscape. Check it out!

There's an exhibit of his work on display at the Corcoran downtown, as well as the Adamson Gallery 14th St.

Definitely worth checking out if the TED talks interest you.

The full-length documentary "Manufactured Landscapes" also provides a wonderful view of his work.

Nice, thanks for posting. You should see the automotive detritus we find in urban creekbeds; if you throw in the concrete and asphalt particles, it's a major geologic component.
