Tugboat portrait of geobloggers
Here's a photo of 18 of the 19 geobloggers who assembled on Monday night in Portland:

I had to do some photoshopping, as you might have deduced. Not everybody was in the same place at the same time: herding geobloggers is worse than herding cats! So... I've had to be creative to get them all in the same jpg space.
In alphabetical order, those pictured are:

Wow, that picture is fabulous.
It was nice to meet some of y'all.
Slight correction, there are two 'L's in my name.
Mary Reagan tweets @BoreholeGroup and @mtkr and works at Lamont-Doherty for Borehole Research Group.
Wow, all Prof. and no undergrads. We can fix that. See you in next years pic, lol.
Update on the field trip is up
here. It was nice to have some names and faces with the blogs!
I'm still catching up on all the blog posts since GSA. Thanks for posting the picture, there were a few face/name connections I didn't get.
As Ron pointed out the @mtkr address is my personal account. Tends to be more about NYC and photography, but there is some geology. The work account @BoreholeGroup has more about geoloty, specifically the scientific ocean drilling program I work for (IODP) and the goings on at Lamont.
Of course when people look at the name on this entry it will likely be NYCPhoto, further confusing the issue ;-)
I like the way Ron showed up as a cutout. You fooled me for a moment there, but he definitely arrived after I left.
