I just wanted to say I was up there last summer and I loved the new* geology section at the Smithsonian. My little sister (not so much a rock geek) liked it, too although she liked the gems better. I liked the old one but I'm a geek. I used to read all the labels on the mineral samples.
*to me anyway it'd been years since I'd been there.
I like how they used the Swedish "Helsingfors" instead of the Finnish "Helsinki". It makes me suspect a Swedish-speaking geologist had something to do with that sign being created...
