That is a long list of trips. When do you relax? Or are the trips a form of relaxation?

Do you have to get a minimum number of students for the trips to run?

It is a long list indeed! We like field trips. I don't know about "relaxing," per se, but they are fun.

Yes -- gotta get a minimum of 12 for the trip to run. Many have ~6 now, but the purpose of the post was to drum up some interest from the local populace.

I am hoping to come for the History before History walking tour of Washinton DC.

I live in Hagerstown MD. I plan to come if there is any chance of a Geology walk Sunday. I also would like to come early and find a parking place that is free. Is that possible? I have only been into DC about 4 times since I have lived in the area.

Hi Thomas,

There's no geology walk THIS Sunday, but you're welcome to come to 'History before history' NEXT Sunday.

There's free parking everywhere on Sundays -- you're just going to have to hunt for a free parking space. There will be lots of competition because the meet-up location is right next to the Zoo, and the Zoo is popular on the weekends. I'd recommend public transportation (Columbia Heights or Woodley Park Metro would both work.)

Callan, I guess my enthusiasm got the better of me! I'll have to wait a whole week :(

If I post anymore about the DC trip I'll post under the correct blog comment so I won't confuse anyone else.
