Computer and software discounts for students

• NOVA provides free Windows-based Symantec Antivirus software for use on home computers. Login at http://nvcc.my.vccs.edu and click on Blackboard. The link to the free software is under the NVCC tab. There are also limited copies on a CD for checkout at campus LRCs.
• Both Dell and Gateway offer substantial discounts on computers for NOVA students. Go to the IT Help Desk link at the bottom of NOVA’s home page and then use the link for Computer Purchases on the left side of the page for ordering information. Substantial discounts on software, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, are available online through NOVA’s bookstore. Follow the link to the Bookstore under the tab for Popular NVCC Links on NOVA’s home page. Choose your campus and use the link to Student Software Discounts on the left side of the page.
• NOVA students can also shop at Patriot Computers, George Mason University’s on-campus computer store. Use the IT Help Desk link near the bottom of the NOVA homepage, and then click on the link for Computer
• The  new big discounts on Adobe software are now available to faculty, staff and students. Discount offered to all student, faculty/staff and only one copy of any product. For more information please visit www.JourneyEd.com/Select.
